John Arthur Draycott was born in 1856, Derby. 1881 census he was living in Harborne with his wife Fanny, they divorced in 1891.

Walsall Advertiser, 11 May 1895 a report about a case in which John Arthur Draycott, photographer ,brought an action against William Truswell and Sons, heating apparatus


Leamington Spa Courier, 28 May 1905 a public notice about Draycott (Limited) photographers. 'The Receivers for the Debenture Holders invites offers for the undertaking of the company.

George Vaughan Sankey, photographer, Woodville near Burton on Trent.

Mr G. V. Sankey was taking school photographs at Woodville school in 1886. School work was somewhat disarranged according to a log book held at Derbyshire Record Office.

George Vaughan Sankey was born Church Gresley in 1842.  His father Matthew Sankey was an earthernware manufacturer.  1851 address was 'Jack in the Hole' Church Gresley

Western Daily Press, Bristol, 20 January 1897 advertisement for a smart portrait canvasser (possibly someone going door to door trying to 'drum up' business) one aspect was canvassing for photographic Christmas cards Royal Cornwall Gazette, 21 December 1905.   Latest mention of the firm I have found is 13 February 1909 Western Daily Press, Bristol.
